hey ami its eddy well in here in tampa i went down to this auto show they do about 10.00pm on saturdays and there was a hole bunch of old rx-7's doing donout in the parking lot and mest up the hole car show cause the cops came and true everyone out.

Depends on the enviroment around here. Like we have local car shows (pretty big ones at that) almost every saturday. Thing is for YEARS these have been domestic shows, i havn't been there lately but i heard stuff imports and low rider trucks are creeping in. This was fine for the most part, till one day were a truck and a civic or something, both were dancing with their hydrolics and blasting some getto tunes...all fine and dandy...except they were creating a big crowd around the other cars just so people could see, and their music was louder than what they usually play at the shows (oldies music to go with the muscle cars).

On the other hand, our main local autocross takes place a few miles from where these shows take place. In a local state park were its 25mph or die (you get the idea). Well while watching racing you always get some idiot in a IROC or something doin a burnout as they leave cuz they saw a ferri go past...like they could do anything even if it wasn't 25mph. Or one time this little thug in his newer firebird would always cruise around and goose the gas here and there. Well one day he came racing, his car spun on course and rather than to let off the gas like your suppose to he stayed on it, did a big smokey donut, and took off twards the finish. Not to mention he almost hit a few corner workers (wanna guess who was the closest? you lookin at him). Soon as he crossed the finish all happy like...they told him to leave, funniest damn thing i've ever seen someone get in trouble for. Also i see alot of goofs on sport bikes, so thats another catagory, and your typical ricers here and there driving grand ams or old rusted CRXs with PHAT stuff outta pep boys. You guys get the picture.

Are imports trouble makers? Nope, but i think everyone at one point or another is to blame. (remeber rice boys can drive anything lol)

hey Eddy, glad to see you stopped by!

well guys, i think i'm gonna leave the Si alone. "she'll" get her new clutch, belts and hoses as needed and that's it. i think i'm gonna put my time and effort back into the VW. who knows, maybe i'll take HABIB'S advice and just drop a b16 in the Squareback (you crack me up! )
